Week 38

Amanda and I in our 38th week

Well I am officially full term now, so the baby could come any day now. I read that 80% of baby's are born within 10 days of the due date so I am suspecting it will be anywhere between April 30 and May 19. I am hoping for May 10 (Mothers Day). My belly button is popping out a bit and I have a very faint line above my belly button. I was up 40lbs but ended up losing 2 lbs so I am now up 38lbs. I don't suspect I will gain more, which is good because I thought I would gain way more! This week is my last week of work, I wish I would have made last week the end as I am very tired and could pretty much fall asleep at any point in the day. Now it is just the waiting game. I am very curious as to whether it is a boy or a girl???

Jack and Jill Baby Shower

Dave and Jolene through Derek and I a Jack and Jill Baby Shower. It was suppose to be a surprise but I kinda figured something was up, but it was still a nice surprise. There was lots of people there and for many of the men there it was their first Baby Shower experience. We got lots a beautiful gifts. Thanks to everyone who made it out and for your generous gifts. Now all we need is a Baby! Less then one month to go.

Our friends Rob and Julia had their baby on April 8, she was 6 days overdue. They had a beautiful healthy baby girl, Sienna Grace Campbell, she was 6lbs 13oz. Congratulations guys.

Baby Nursery

Well the baby nursery is finally complete. Derek is concerned that it is too white, but I really like the simplicity of the room. We do need to add something to the walls. We are thinking of waiting until the baby is born and then put up block letters of the baby's name. I feel pretty confident just putting up Connor but you never know.

I am now in my 36th week and can't wait till this pregnancy thing is all over with. I am still having a lot of pain due to my sacroiliac ligament, some days are better than others but a day doesn't go by where I am not in pain. My last day of work is April 24th which is a Pro D Day so my last day will be easy. With Easter and Doctor appointments I only have 8 days of work left.
