Mike and Adriana playing on the grassI can not believe how fast August has gone by. We started the month off on a 4 night camping trip to Lake Goodwin (Washington). Our cabin was a bit of a hole, not worth $100/night that's for sure, but it was nice to get away and relax by the water. We did a lot of shopping, Adriana got the most!
When we arrived home my parents were already here. It was the first time my Dad has seen Adriana so it was great that they finally met. My Dad built a closet in our basement and put tile down to make it more of a boot room. Derek has been doing all the finishing touches this week and it is finally finished. It looks great!
My Dad went on a fishing trip with my Uncle and my Mom stayed with us for the week. I guess all you need to do is have a kid and your parents actually want to come to the lower mainland for a visit;)
