Olympics (2)

The 3 of us decided to spend our Valentine's Day downtown to take in all the Olympic festivities.  We had an action packed day which consisted mostly of standing in lines.  We were able to see and experience everything there is to do downtown.  Adriana was in her stroller for 7 hours and was content just taking in all the action going on around us.  On the walk back to the car she finally crashed.  Go Canada Go!

Irish House.....only a 20 minute line up.....but $8 beers!
No line up at Sharks Club and $5 beers!
Katrina and I at the Canada vs. Slovakia Womens Hockey Game
Michaelle Jean cheering on Canada not too far from our seats

I spent Saturday downtown with Katrina, Laura, and Caleigh. It was a wet, busy day and lots of fun!  I must say you don't really experience the Olympics unless you are at an event.  Canada mutilated Slovakia 18-0 (my guess was 8-0) well worth $180

Surrey Olympic Celebration

Derek, Adriana and I decided to go Holland Park in Surrey to experience some more Olympic excitement. We ended up missing the lighting of the Surrey Ceremonial Cauldron because parking was insane but we were able to see a fantastic Fireworks show. Adriana loved the Fireworks and music.

Olympic Torch Relay

Olympic Torch Relay

This afternoon Adriana and I went to see the Olympic Torch Relay by the YMCA.  It all came by very quick but I am glad we made it out to see all the hype.  Adriana got a coke flag and she cheered on the torch runner.  Go Canada Go!!!!!!
