Birch Bay Camping Trip

On May Long Weekend we had our first camping trip of the year.  This also marked the first "tenting" camping trip we have had with Adriana.  Adriana slept great in the tent....me on the other hand....lets just say we ended up in Brian and Amanda's trailer for the following nights.  The girls had a blast going for bike rides around the campground.  We spent on day at the Seattle Woodland Zoo, Adriana's favourite animals were the wild dogs, sea otters, and brown bears.  The rain held up for most of the weekend which made life a bit easier, but we are now in the market for a tent trailer.

Parties...Parties and more Parties

Derek took the last Friday of my maternity leave off so we could spend the day as a family.  We decided to explore a new park called Campbell River.  There is a very nice walking trail there with trees creating an archway as you can see in the picture above.

On the same weekend we went to the Early Years Children's Festival in Surrey.  Brayden, Keira and Adriana had a blast especially in the ball pen!

We had Adriana Baptized on April 11, 2010 at Sacred Heart Church. It was nice to have a lot of my Family down to celebrate with us. Adriana did very well; she was the first of 7 to go and didn't cry when she was completely drenched by Father Michael.

Time to say goodbye to all the fun this year

We had our last Tuesday Bootcamp today and it was very sad.  Adriana loves going to see all the kids and hang our with her best buds, Jayla and Jordan.  I think I will definently miss it once I go back to work because I won't be able to work out as much.  Come summer we are going to be enrolled in Bootcamp twice a week outdoors,  oh how I hope these 2 months of work go by fast!

A Quick Update

Adriana loves crawling up and down the stairs all day long.  She now crawls up to look out the window on the stairs and sometimes sees her friend Jayla looking at here from across the street.  It is so cute to see how excited they get.
