Well apparently Derek and I want to get everything done within one year. I am PREGNANT!!!!!!! It sure didn't take long and I am sure some of you are counting to see if this pregnancy is legit. Well to save you from counting back I will tell you right now it is legit. My due date is May 9, 2009. I am 7 weeks and 4 days. I had my first ultrasound on Monday, Derek was able to come. We weren't really sure what to expect and we weren't sure why I was getting it so early. The first thing the lady asks me is if I was having problems and I said, umm no I am pregnant. She said, I know that but I don't know why you are here. She did the ultra sound anyways and we got to see our little blob. It was 1.55 cm long and heart rate was 167 bpm. We could see the hear beat which was really amazing. Now all we need to do is win the lottery and retire!!!
I'm so happy for you guys! Your going to be great parents. What did your family say when you told them? Was it a surprise? Well This year is going to be a big one,thats going to last you a life time! Congrats....

..."our little blob"...this 3 word phrase will live forever in infamy in this child's life. let's just hope the child doesn't turn out to be on the chubbier side!
