I am now 39 weeks and 4 days along and am officially on Maternity Leave. It has been a boring week and a half. I sleep in and some days don't even bother the change out of my PJ's since it is more comfy to be in that than regular clothes. Derek gets mad at me because I don't wear jeans anymore and only yoga pants, but unless he was 9 months pregnant he would understand why I do that. I have been spending a lot of time with Marley and Belle which is nice. Marley has been very cuddly lately, I think he enjoys me being home with him. The two of them are so cute, whenever they lie beside me they put a paw on my baby belly. I wish I could get a picture but there is never anyone around to take one.
I had a Dr. appointment today and it looks like the baby is going to be late. My cervix hasn't thinned and is still facing back. I have an ultra sound scheduled for next Thursday to make sure everything is still OK. The good thing about it is the Dr. said she would only let me go 10 days over so the last possible day for the baby to arrive is May 19 which is my moms birthday.
Erica, You can always invite me over on your lonely days. Ella and I can come out to visit. You would have to get changed out of the PJ's though, so not sure how you feel about that ;)
